Brief 4 : Applying the Logo to the Roasted Beans Sack

For the coffee bean sacks, I have been trying to think of a way of applying the logo onto the hessian. This has proven to be quite a complicated process as it would be a bit difficult to screen print (as first I'd have to learn how to screen print!) and after speaking to the staff of the screen print room at college I've taken their advice and decided to spray paint the logo on using a stencil instead. 

I therefore adapted the logo to make it into a stencil that will work for laser cutting - adding stems into the counters of the letters etc - so that I could simply cut it out of mount board and spray paint it on:

(I also made a simpler one with just the words 'Sipi Coffee' incase the 'Bugisu Arabica' part doesn't show up on the hessian)
