KEEN York - Logo in Context
After I sent them the finished logo months ago for them to get printed onto t-shirts and other applications that they needed, I have just been sent some photographs of the logo in use which has made me feel a bit better about this brief as it seems to definitely fit what they wanted:

KEEN York - Experimenting with Colour Schemes
After the charity chose the typeface 'American Typewriter' and just told me to include this I added this in and experimented with different colour schemes:
Using American Typewriter:
They then decided they wanted the text underneath to be simply 'York' and this is the final logo that they chose to use:
I personally really don't like this brief or the outcome but the charity workers seem to be really happy with it and it fits what they have asked for.

KEEN York - Developments
After struggling to produce anything that felt like it even remotely worked, I asked the charity to get one of the kids they work with to draw the logo out that I could base the logo off.
I was sent this image drawn by one of the children:
I then traced the type and thickened it:
Then simply took out the KEEN and cleaned this up a bit more:
I also traced the person that the child had drawn in the same way:
And then simplified it so that it looked more like the original stick man from other KEEN logos:

KEEN York - Initial Tests & Ideas
Merging everything together:
None of this really seems to work for what the charity wants so I'm going to go back to the drawing board and completely reconsider the approach.
