Brief 4: Visual Experiments

Using images from my trip to Sipi, I've started experimenting with some visuals as a way of building a brand identity for the coffee.


After playing around for a bit, I made a list of the things that are unique to the Sipi Falls area which I could use for the brand identity:

- the three waterfalls
- Mount Elgon
- the shapes of the trees
- the little huts by the side of the main roads
- the flowers indigenous to the area

This is the hut from one of my photos which I think conveys the hands on, local way in which the coffee is produced, and here I've traced the outline and made it a block shape that could be used for the logo:
